Fit with Confidence – And Consciousness
At Pima Prima® we want you to feel great in your T-shirt. That’s why we offer returns if you're not fully satisfied with your size. But we’re also here to address a bigger issue: the environmental impact of returns and long-distance logistics.

Every return shipped across borders contributes to unnecessary carbon emissions and packaging waste. Our goal is to reduce this burden by helping you choose the right size the first time — through clear measurements, detailed guidance and personalized support.

The problem we’re solving:
Traditional fashion returns create up to 15 million metric tons of CO₂ emissions annually and generate tons of landfill waste. We're working to minimize that footprint — not by eliminating returns, but by making them smarter, fewer, and more sustainable.

The Birth of Pima Prima: A Journey Through the Andes, Legends, and Sustainable Cotton

Mid March 2020. The world paused. Cities emptied. Borders closed. And we found ourselves stranded in the majestic Andes Mountains of Peru. What at first seemed like an unexpected obstacle became the starting point of a journey that would shape the very soul of Pima Prima.

Now it is clear – sometimes, the universe closes one door only to open a window into a world we never imagined.

Finding Inspiration in Lockdown

Surrounded by snow-capped peaks and ancient valleys, the days blurred between reflection and discovery. The Quechua people, guardians of a culture stretching back millennia, welcomed us into their world. Through conversations, shared meals, and hands-on work in their communities, we discovered ancient cotton cultivation techniques and natural dyeing methods passed down from generation to generation.

Every fiber of Pima cotton, carefully grown and hand-picked in these high-altitude regions, told a story. And with every story, we began connecting the dots—seeing how 100% natural cotton could be more than just a fabric; it could be a bridge linking heritage, sustainability, and modern fashion.

Legends, Myths, and the Spirit of the Andes

The Andes are alive with legends and sacred stories. Around evening fires, we listened to tales of mystical animals, guardian spirits, and sacred plants. One story, in particular, captured our imagination: the Palo Santo tree, native only to Northern Peru. Revered for its spiritual and cleansing properties, the tree symbolized balance, healing and protection.

We realized that these myths weren’t just tales—they were lessons in harmony, resilience, and respect for the natural world. They became guiding principles for the brand we were beginning to envision: clothing that respects the Earth, honors tradition, and protects the wearer.

The Birth of Pima Prima

Every morning in the Andes, surrounded by mountains and myths, we sketched ideas, experimented with 100% natural Pima cotton and tested the touch of the fibers on skin. We wanted skin-friendly fabrics that were soft, hypoallergenic and breathable—clothes that didn’t just look good, but felt good against the body, protecting the skin while interacting with the environment.

Slowly, Pima Prima began to take shape. Our vision was clear: to create luxurious, durable, eco-friendly garments that carried the wisdom of the Andes, the artistry of the Quechua people, and the purity of natural cotton. Each T-shirt would be more than a wardrobe item—it would be a story, a connection and a promise to the planet.

Sustainability Woven Into Every Thread

The Palo Santo legend became our symbol for environmental responsibility. Inspired by its spiritual and ecological significance, we launched the Tess for Trees initiative: for every Pima Prima garment sold, we support the planting of Palo Santo trees in Northern Peru, helping preserve this sacred species and restore fragile ecosystems.

Beyond Palo Santo, our 100% natural Pima cotton ensures each T-shirt is biodegradable, sustainably grown, and crafted to last. Unlike synthetic fabrics, our skin-friendly fabrics breathe, wick moisture, and protect the body from environmental stressors, making each garment a mindful choice for both comfort and health.

Connecting the Dots: Culture, Nature, and Fashion

Every element of Pima Prima is intertwined: the softness of Pima cotton, the skin-friendly fabrics, the ethical production practices, and the cultural inspiration from Quechua legends—they are all dots that connect to form a brand with purpose.

  • Culture: Ancient techniques and local myths guide every design choice.
  • Nature: Sustainable materials and reforestation initiatives preserve the environment.
  • Fashion: Modern, timeless designs that fit comfortably and feel luxurious.
