A Journey of Discovery

In early 2020, the world stopped.

Borders closed. Plans dissolved. Movement became impossible. What was meant to be a short stay in Peru turned into almost six months of waiting — without direction, without certainty, without urgency.

At first, it felt like an interruption. Then it became something else.

With nowhere to rush and nothing to organize, attention slowly shifted. Days stretched. Time softened. We began to notice details that usually pass unnoticed — landscapes, rhythms, gestures, silences.

Peru revealed itself not as a destination, but as a place lived from within. Markets, roads, mountains. Conversations that didn’t lead anywhere specific, but stayed with us. People whose lives were shaped not by schedules, but by weather and continuity.

The pause changed our way of seeing. We stopped moving — and started understanding. Even the body adjusted — breathing slower, listening more.

This was not a journey planned in advance. It was a moment of presence, given unexpectedly.

And it became the beginning of everything that followed.
